2015 End of Year Sales Data is in and Walton County Single Family Home Sales exceeded the dollar volume of 2005 sales by $4.25M.
Not a large margin, however, many reference 2005 as the height of the 30A market (even though the 2004 dollar volume of sales exceeded 2005 by $83.49M) a market that we did not expect to see for many years to come.
The above graph provides an excellent overview of the entire Walton County housing market since 2001 and evidential trends.
The nuances of the Walton County market make it difficult to make generalizations and we will drill down for more detailed analysis for our customers and clients.
It should be noted that 2005 had more transactions than 2015 by 237. What does all this mean? We will continue the data analysis and share what we find in the next week or so.
